Terms & Conditions

Welcome to amilli.ca.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the A Milli Creative Studio website, products and services.

Throughout these Terms, “A Milli Creative Studio,” “A Milli,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to A Milli Creative Studio. “You,” “your,” “client,” or “customer” refers to the individual or business accessing our website, purchasing a product or service, or engaging A Milli Creative Studio for creative services.

By accessing amilli.ca, purchasing a product or service, submitting an order, or engaging us to provide services, you agree to these Terms.

If a separate proposal, quote, statement of work, service agreement or client contract is provided for a project, that document may contain additional terms specific to that project. If there is a conflict, the project-specific agreement will govern to the extent stated in that agreement, subject to applicable law.

1. About Our Services

A Milli Creative Studio provides creative and marketing services that may include:

  • Branding and logo design

  • Brand identity development

  • Social media graphics

  • Social media content creation

  • Social media management

  • Content planning

  • Caption and copywriting

  • Marketing materials

  • Digital resources and templates

  • Graphic design

  • Creative strategy

  • Other related creative and marketing services

The exact scope of your purchase will be described on the applicable product page, proposal, invoice, quote or service agreement.

Purchasing one service does not include additional services unless they are specifically stated as included.

2. Custom Creative Services

Many products sold through amilli.ca are custom services rather than pre-made downloadable designs.

For example, if you purchase a Single Social Media Graphic, the file delivered immediately after checkout may simply confirm your order and explain the next steps. Your completed custom graphic will be created after we receive the information required to begin your project.

After a custom-service purchase, we may contact you to request information such as:

  • Your business name

  • Logo and brand files

  • Brand colours

  • Fonts

  • Social media handles

  • Desired wording or copy

  • Photographs or other assets

  • Inspiration or examples

  • Preferred style

  • Intended platform or dimensions

  • Project goals

  • Any other information reasonably required to complete the work

Project timelines do not begin until we have received the information and materials reasonably required to start the project.

3. Client Responsibility

You are responsible for providing accurate, complete and timely information.

Delays in providing requested information, feedback, approvals, files, photographs or other materials may result in corresponding delays to the project.

You are also responsible for reviewing all work before final approval, including:

  • Spelling

  • Grammar

  • Names

  • Dates

  • Prices

  • Addresses

  • Telephone numbers

  • Website addresses

  • Social media handles

  • Product information

  • Legal or regulatory statements

  • Promotional details

  • Any other factual information

While we take reasonable care in preparing your work, final approval remains the client's responsibility.

Once a design has been approved, additional corrections or modifications may be treated as additional revisions and may result in additional charges.

4. Turnaround Times

Any turnaround time displayed on our website or communicated to you is an estimate unless specifically stated otherwise in writing.

Turnaround times may be affected by:

  • The scope or complexity of the project

  • Client response time

  • Revision requests

  • Delayed approvals

  • Missing information or assets

  • Technical issues

  • Illness or emergencies

  • Third-party delays

  • Holidays or periods of unusually high demand

A Milli Creative Studio will make reasonable efforts to meet communicated timelines but does not guarantee a specific completion date unless expressly agreed to in writing.

Rush services may be available for an additional fee.

5. Revisions

The number of revisions included in a purchase will be stated in the applicable product description, package, proposal or agreement.

A revision generally means a reasonable adjustment to the original concept or design, such as:

  • Changing text

  • Adjusting colours

  • Changing positioning

  • Swapping an image

  • Making minor layout adjustments

A revision does not normally include requesting a completely new concept, substantially changing the creative direction after work has begun, or adding work outside the original project scope.

Requests that materially change the original brief may require an additional fee.

If additional revisions are requested beyond those included in your purchase, we will advise you of any applicable additional cost before proceeding.

6. Changes to Project Scope

Your purchase covers only the work specifically described in the applicable product, package, quote or agreement.

If you request additional work or make substantial changes to the original project requirements, we may provide a new quote or charge an additional fee.

Examples may include:

  • Additional design concepts

  • Additional social graphics

  • Additional pages

  • Additional platforms or dimensions

  • Extensive copy changes

  • New creative direction after design work has begun

  • Additional revisions

  • Source or editable files not included in the original package

  • Additional meetings or consultation

  • Rush delivery

We will make reasonable efforts to disclose additional charges before completing out-of-scope work.

7. Pricing

Prices displayed on amilli.ca are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Applicable taxes may be added at checkout or invoiced where required.

We may change our prices at any time. Changes will not affect a completed purchase unless the scope of work changes or additional services are requested.

Promotional pricing, discount codes and special offers may be subject to separate conditions and expiration dates.

8. Payment

Payment requirements will be shown at checkout or specified in your invoice, proposal or service agreement.

Depending on the service, we may require:

  • Full payment upfront

  • A deposit

  • Scheduled instalments

  • Monthly recurring payments

  • A remaining balance before final delivery

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, final deliverables may be withheld until all outstanding amounts associated with the project have been paid.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information.

9. Recurring Services and Monthly Packages

Some services may be offered on a recurring basis.

Where a recurring service is purchased, the applicable:

  • Billing frequency

  • Included services

  • Minimum commitment, if any

  • Renewal terms

  • Cancellation requirements

  • Notice periods will be disclosed in the applicable service description, checkout process or client agreement.

Recurring services do not automatically include unused work from previous billing periods unless explicitly stated otherwise.

10. Cancellations

If you need to cancel a custom project, contact us as soon as possible at:

info@amilli.ca

Whether a cancellation or refund is available will depend on:

  • The type of product or service purchased

  • Whether work has begun

  • How much work has already been completed

  • Whether digital materials have already been delivered

  • The terms shown when you purchased

  • Any applicable service agreement

  • Applicable law

Once substantial custom work has begun, amounts relating to work already performed may be non-refundable except where otherwise required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation or refund rights that cannot legally be waived.

11. Refunds

Because many of our services involve customized creative work, refunds are generally not provided simply because a client changes their mind after work has begun.

Where appropriate, refund eligibility will be assessed based on the circumstances of the purchase and the amount of work already completed.

Custom work that has already been completed or delivered is generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.

We encourage clients to carefully review product descriptions and contact us with questions before purchasing.

For questions regarding a purchase, contact:

info@amilli.ca

12. Digital Products and Downloads

Some products available through amilli.ca may consist of downloadable resources such as:

  • Templates

  • Guides

  • Checklists

  • Workbooks

  • Content calendars

  • Caption resources

  • Marketing materials

  • Other digital products

Unless otherwise stated, digital products are provided for the purchaser's own personal or internal business use.

You may not:

  • Resell the product

  • Redistribute it

  • Upload it for public distribution

  • Share it as a downloadable resource

  • Claim the original design as your own

  • Republish it for commercial resale

  • Create competing products substantially derived from it

Because digital products can generally be accessed immediately, sales of downloaded or accessed digital products are normally treated as final, subject to any rights provided by applicable law.

If you experience a technical issue accessing a purchased product, contact info@amilli.ca.

13. Intellectual Property — Custom Client Work

Ownership of completed custom creative work depends on the service purchased and any applicable client agreement.

Unless otherwise specified, once the project has been paid for in full, the client will receive the usage or ownership rights expressly included with that service.

A Milli Creative Studio retains ownership of:

  • Unused concepts

  • Rejected concepts

  • Preliminary drafts

  • Sketches

  • Working files

  • Internal templates

  • Processes

  • Methods

  • Presentation materials

  • Design systems not specifically transferred to the client

  • Other intellectual property not expressly included in the final deliverables

Transfer of final work does not automatically include editable or source files unless those files are specifically stated as part of the package.

14. Source and Editable Files

Source or editable files may include formats such as:

  • Adobe Illustrator files

  • Adobe Photoshop files

  • Canva templates

  • Working design files

  • Other editable project files

Source files are only included where specifically stated.

Receiving a final PNG, JPG, PDF, SVG or other finished file does not automatically entitle the client to every underlying working file used to create it.

Additional fees may apply if editable or source files are requested after purchase.

15. Fonts, Stock Images and Third-Party Assets

Some projects may incorporate assets provided by third parties, including:

  • Fonts

  • Stock photography

  • Stock video

  • Illustrations

  • Mockups

  • Icons

  • Music

  • Templates

  • Software-generated assets

These materials may remain subject to the licence terms of their original provider.

A transfer of rights in the final design does not transfer ownership of separately licensed third-party materials.

In some circumstances, a client may need to purchase their own licence for a particular font, photograph, software product or other asset.

We will advise you where reasonably necessary.

16. Client-Supplied Materials

By providing us with photographs, logos, videos, music, written content, trademarks or other materials, you confirm that you own those materials or have sufficient permission to allow us to use them for your project.

You agree not to provide materials that infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy or other legal rights.

A Milli Creative Studio is not responsible for claims arising from client-supplied content where the client did not have appropriate permission to use that content.

17. Portfolio and Promotional Use

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, A Milli Creative Studio may display completed public-facing creative work for portfolio and promotional purposes, including on:

  • amilli.ca

  • Social media

  • Portfolio presentations

  • Promotional materials

  • Business proposals

We will not intentionally publish confidential information supplied by a client.

If your project must remain confidential, please advise us before the project begins so that this can be addressed in your project agreement.

Where we provide social media services, results can depend on many factors outside our control.

We do not guarantee:

Social media platforms may change their algorithms, functionality, policies or availability at any time.

Our role is to provide the creative, content, marketing or management services specified in your package. No particular business result is guaranteed.

19. Account Access

Some services may require you to provide access to social media accounts, websites or other business platforms.

Where possible, clients should use secure account-sharing, administrator or collaborator features rather than sharing personal passwords.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate account security and promptly revoking access when it is no longer required.

We will only use granted account access for purposes reasonably related to the services we have been engaged to provide.

20. Approval and Publishing

For services involving scheduled or published content, the approval process will depend on your package or agreement.

Where client approval is required, you are responsible for reviewing content within the requested timeframe.

A Milli Creative Studio is not responsible for delays caused by late client approval.

Once content has been approved for publication, the client accepts responsibility for the approved wording, imagery, offers, pricing and other factual content.

A Milli Creative Studio does not guarantee any specific financial, marketing or business result arising from the use of our services.

Any examples, portfolio pieces, case studies or previous results are illustrative and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that another client will receive the same results.
